This new facility provided the opportunity for the Arvada Police Department to better serve their constituents, including their decentralized, community-based policing style.
This trio of fire stations were built for the West Metro Fire Protection District, and incorporate classic design cues of arched apparatus bay doors combined with modern architecture. Brick and masonry are used liberally throughout.
Jefferson County Workforce is a center to connect job seekers to various companies. It is a two-story pre-cast concrete structure with a full basement. Foundations were challenging due to the dipping bedrock in the area.
This building along with the public library make up the Civic Center for the Town of Longmont. The Safety and Justice Center houses courtrooms, judicial offices, police, and fire departments. They are committed to working in partnership with their citizens to create and preserve exceptional public safety.
Adams County consolidated all county office’s into one central campus including a 5 story office tower. The design goal of the campus was to create a sense of openness and accessibility for all employees and citizens, a walkable complex easy to navigate, and a sustainable environment. The campus is 330,000 SF and the structure is composite steel and bar joists.
The City and County of Denver wanted an open and airy new building for their clients in the Clayton neighborhood. This two-story, 54,000 square foot structure incorporates large expanses of glass on the southern atrium to connect the inside space with the outside environment. Large overhangs shield this glass from unwanted solar gains while the underfloor air distribution system allows for individual temperature controls.
The City and County of Denver has selected us to be a part of their on-call structural services team. Several projects including Red Rocks mezzanine structures, fire station repairs, and electric vehicle charging stations have been completed as part of this contract.
