Southeast Christian Church

Built in three phases over eight years and completed in 2005, Southeast Christian includes a worship center for 2000 as well as a smaller worship venue and an education wing. Total area of the complex is 140,000 square feet.

The structural system is structural steel beams and joists supported on masonry bearing walls or steel columns. Super long span joists frame the large worship space which includes precast concrete tiered seating. Architecturally exposed structural steel moment frames enclose the glass facade of the lobby space.
